Almost two years ago, I was standing at the end of a church aisle waiting for my bride. It was in that moment, I absolutely knew I was the luckiest man alive.
At just 15 years old, I shot my first wedding and started my photography business. I pictured that moment for years as I would take photos of a bride walking down the aisle. You may think I have gotten used to the emotion of wedding days, but that is certainly not the case. I always feel the emotion and the excitement of the couple, but that day two years ago, it was our turn. It was a feeling I can’t describe in words, but I will remember it forever.
After 10 years of being in the photography business, the time had come when I got to shoot the session I had dreamed of photographing… My wife’s bridal portraits. While taking these photos, I knew this was the most special photo shoot I had ever shot. This stunning beauty in front of me was the love of my life. She is the woman who would rather have a homemade card than expensive jewelry. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She is the teacher who responds all summer to her students’ emails to make sure they know she cares how they are doing (she is also every 4th grade boy’s crush in her class haha). She is the most beautiful, graceful dancer I have ever seen. This woman is and will forever be my favorite topic.
Now you can OOO and AWE over this gorgeous lady I get to call my wife! Enjoy!
